freitagsküche: MeWeMeal – ein Do-it-Yourself-Agit-Pop-up-Restaurant
Ensemble Modern, Der Chor Frankfurt, Jessica Aszodi (Alt), Michael Schiefel (Tenor), Jonathan Stockhammer (Dirigent), Cathy Milliken (Komposition, Text und Workshop), freitagsküche
Ensemble Modern invites you to become part of an evening of sound and play in ›Night Shift‹ by Cathy Milliken. Here dreams, visions, and love meet ecology and walls. The audience joins musicians of Ensemble Modern, conductor Jonathan Stockhammer, the Chor Frankfurt, and soloists Jessica Aszodi and Michael Schiefel. Together, the audience embark on a musical exploration of Milliken’s score, inspired by texts from Shakespeare’s ›A Midsummer Night’s Dream‹. All audience members are provided with sound-making objects, and guided gently through an engaging, relaxed evening of collaborative listening and performance. Afterwards the evening takes a culinary direction: freitagsküche has developed an experimental setting inviting visitors to get together for a ›Do-it-Yourself-Agit-Pop-up-Restaurant‹, celebrating a joint ›MeWeMeal‹.
Children and teenagers are warmly welcome. Suitable for all ages starting at schooling age.
